Free Wi-Fi in RV Parks and Campgrounds

There are many people who travel seasonally or fulltime and stay in RV Parks and Resorts and Campgrounds. Many have laptop computers and need Internet access to use e-mail to stay in touch with family and friends or make a reservation at another park, as well as to do online banking, etc.

Many RV Parks and Campgrounds are installing Wi-Fi as an amenity, just like Hotels and Motels, and some are offering it for Free. The Wi-Fi FreeSpot Directory now has a new page that lists these RV Parks, Resorts and Campgrounds with Free Wi-Fi.

More Hotels with Free Wi-Fi

WestCoast Hotels and their Red Lion locations announced free Wi-Fi with their unique Net4Guests program. The Net4Guests service utilizes the company's GuestAwards® frequent traveler program to provide members instant log on access using their member numbers and passwords. As an additional benefit to GuestAwards members, they can access Net4Guests service any time they are visiting a participating Red Lion or WestCoast property -- whether they are an overnight guest or not. If they happen to be passing by a participating property and need to quickly check e-mail they can stop in and use the free Wi-Fi in the public areas of the location. In addition, for temporary access, Net4Guests is available at no cost to registered hotel guests on a per-stay basis at participating Red Lion and WestCoast Hotels. Just ask a front desk agent at check-in for a One-Time Net4Guests Access Card.

Locations, mostly in the Western USA, can be found at http://www.westcoasthotels.com/WHC/Net4Guests/n4g_par.asp

More Free Wi-Fi

Thanks to all the e-mailers there have been many recent additions to the Wi-Fi FreeSpot Directory. During my recent vacation I used the free Wi-Fi provided by the Woodstar Cafe and the Haymarket Cafe in Northampton, Massachusetts to keep up with the submittal e-mails ( although it took me a day or two after my return to California to get completely caught up with posting the additions ). I won't be posting my usual summary of additions by city/town but you will find new locations on the Montana, South Dakota, New Hampshire, Caifornia, Washington, Illinois, Alabama, Hawaii, Nebraska, New York, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Colorado, Alaska, Arizona, Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Missouri, North Carolina, North Dakota, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, and West Virginia State pages as well as in Prince Edward Island, Canada, and London and Amsterdam.
